Bubba Lab Finest at Lamp Quarters Marikina Review

Do you find yourself struggling to find a place to hang out with kids? Expect that I’ll be sharing places where we like to eat as a family and rate it’s ambiance, affordability and accessibility. Keep in my mind that I have a special kid so the places we visit need to be kid friendly.


Recently, I was invited to the Bubba Lab Influencers Tea Party that was held on August 24, at the Lamp Quarters Branch in Marikina. I decided to take my family along as paying customers to get the experience, since we always need to find a place that would be conducive for our little lad and my anxiety levels. 
We took the bikes to travel and it took us just 20 minutes to get there. Parking is limited but we were able to find a spot. I checked on the little lad and his body language told me he was okay. I immediately loved the set up of Lamp Quarters which is a food spot for small coffee shops and resto’s.

Diapers are NOT my favorite thing but my son needs them. At his age and with him constantly trying to find stimulation he is super active - he loves to jump, run, roll and even bounces up and down on his exercise ball. Good for him but not for his diaper pants. 

After a few hours his diaper pants start to sag and sometimes they fall down HAHA. Funny parenting moment. He needs diaper pants which will give him the freedom to move around (a lot) and not to cut-off a moment of stimulation when he is most happy.

Challenging. Tiring. Self-doubting. Sad.

Those are the words that sum up my 2018 - I know I should be counting my blessings and successes however there would not be any success without going through hardships. 2018 really put me on the line to test my innermost strength. I don't regret the year - don't get me wrong but I am so ready to say thank you, next, please!

Power Dressing Basics from The Winning Image Workshop + Give-away!

It's 7:54AM and I am already out of the house to catch a ride to Ortigas, I like the thought of leaving early especially if I still need to look for the venue. Traffic was amazingly free flowing for Pasig and the sun was not too warm yet. I am a commuter and I am mostly fond of riding Jeepneys, the MRT or the the LRT to needed destinations especially if I am going solo.

I decided to wear a pair of dark denims, with a black racer back top and cardigan, I capped off the look with a my favorite pair of gray boots. My make was light with a nude lippie and my hair was slightly curled with a lot of body. 


I was off to a Personality Development Workshop titled "The Winning Image". When I told my Senior Manager, that I "needed" to take a leave so I could attend, he chuckled and said jokingly "You're not going to pass it anyway..." That was my point, even I didn't think I could be good at it, that's why I so much wanted to attend. I have always believed that there is always room to learn and I wanted to feel confident in everything I do.
